The Opportunity

We are seeking a responsible College Bus Driver on a permanent full-time basis during school term time, to provide a secure driving service for our school community in a school-owned coach. We are looking for a friendly, patient, and understanding person to join our Facilities and Infrastructure team to support school transport.

The role is a split shift, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid break between the morning and afternoon shifts. Working hours: Split shift, 6:30 am–11:30 am and 3:00 pm–5:30 pm, totalling 7.5 paid hours per day. Additional hours may be required to fulfil the duties of the role, such as transporting students to excursions/school trips and assisting with facility maintenance as required.

Selection Criteria

- HR Licence required
- WWC Blue Card Registration
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A good clean driving history
- Flexibility, predominantly M-F work; however, some weekend or evening work may be required from time to time
- Sound knowledge of the surrounding suburbs
- Bus and Coach driving experience
- Willingness to assist with other duties as required
- Some computer literacy ideal
- Be fully supportive of the Islamic ethos, values, and practices of the College
