Our client, a major organisation operating in a complex technology workplace, is looking for an experienced Senior Category & Contracts Specialist to join their team on a long-term day rate contract.

This isn't just about managing suppliers, negotiating contracts or following procurement processes. We want someone who is naturally inquisitive, commercially switched on and genuinely interested in technology. Someone who asks the right questions, challenges conventional thinking and enjoys finding smarter ways to deliver value.

You'll work across a diverse ICT portfolio, influencing commercial decisions, building strong relationships and developing category strategies that make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading strategic ICT category and contract management across managed services, software, hardware and technology project services.
- Developing commercially sound, forward-thinking category strategies that deliver value, manage risk and improve outcomes.
- Partnering with technology leaders and stakeholders to understand their challenges, question requirements and identify opportunities.
- Negotiating complex, high-value agreements and building productive, long-term supplier relationships.
- Driving supplier performance,



contract governance and continuous improvement while bringing fresh thinking to procurement practices.

What we're looking for We're particularly interested in people who bring a combination of strong commercial capability, a genuine understanding of IT and the personality to engage, influence and get things moving. You'll have experience in strategic procurement, category management or complex ICT contracts, ideally within a large enterprise environment.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who is curious about how technology works, understands the commercial realities of IT delivery and can connect the dots between business needs, technology solutions and supplier capability.

You'll be confident negotiating, comfortable challenging stakeholders and solutions-focused when things get complicated.

The opportunity This is a 12-month day rate contract, commencing as soon as possible, with an anticipated assignment through to 1 December 2027.

Candidates must be based in Perth, Western Australia.
