Your current roleAs a Data Centre Technician, you will work hands-on with servers, networking equipment, and data centre infrastructure within a high-security, mission-critical environment. You will be trained to support hardware installations, rack and stack activities, server break/fix, cabling, troubleshooting, equipment replacements, inventory management, and infrastructure maintenance.Working alongside Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Security teams, you will follow established procedures and service standards while developing the technical skills required to support large-scale cloud infrastructure. This role operates on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.





What you'll need to succeed

- Passion for technology and a genuine interest in hardware, networking, and infrastructure.
- Exposure to IT hardware, technical support, networking, or data centre environments through work, study, certifications, or personal projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites when required.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Desirable:
- Data centre, hardware repair, server deployment, or networking experience.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar technical certifications.
