DevOps & Azure Integration Engineer | 6-month contract | Melbourne, hybrid | $870/day incl super

Talent Locker is recruiting a Senior DevOps & Azure Integration Engineer for a managed services business. You'll lead the integration and DevOps work on a current Finance and HR system implementation.

It's hands-on. You'll build the Azure Function Apps and integrations that connect the Finance and HR platforms to the wider enterprise, and set up the DevOps practice that gets them into production cleanly.

What you'll do:

- Design, build, test and support integrations using Azure Function Apps
- Develop and consume REST APIs, with secure authentication and credential handling
- Build in error handling, retries, logging, monitoring and alerting
- Set up and own Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, source control and branching
- Automate deployments across dev, UAT and production, with proper release controls
- Work with Finance, HR, vendors, architects and security teams to turn requirements into working interfaces
- Document interfaces, deployment procedures and support handover, and support cutover to BAU

What you'll bring:





- Significant hands-on experience building and supporting Azure Function Apps
- Strong enterprise integration experience: REST, JSON, HTTP and API security
- Strong Azure DevOps experience, including repos, pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience integrating Finance, ERP, HR, HRIS or payroll platforms
- Monitoring and troubleshooting across APIs and cloud services
- Confidence leading DevOps practice and working with vendors and stakeholders
- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Melbourne, hybrid: 2–3 days on site
- $870 per day including super
