East Wimmera Health Service East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) provides integrated healthcare and services across 5 campuses. Situated in North West Victoria, EWHS has a long and proud history of caring for the communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud, Wycheproof and surrounding districts - a catchment of approx. 10,000 people. Around 400 dedicated staff provide a range of services across acute, community and primary health programs, residential aged care and general practice care.

EWHS is a member of the Grampians Local Health Service Network which provides opportunities for collaboration and meaningful system level improvement.

EWHS is now seeking to recruit a high calibre professional to this critical leadership role.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of People and Culture provides strategic leadership and oversight of EWHS's people, culture and corporate support functions, including Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Payroll, Occupational Health and Safety, Return to Work, Diversity and Inclusion, Communications and Marketing, and Executive Assistant services. The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support EWHS's strategic and quality objectives, fostering a positive,



engaged and high-performing workforce that is equipped to deliver connected, accessible and quality care for the EWHS community.

To be considered for this role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level, in human resources, business, law or a related field and have relevant certifications in change management, WHS, mediation, coaching, employment law and analytics. You will be an experienced HR qualified with a proven capability in strategic workforce planning, including the ability to translate organisational objectives into effective people and culture strategies that drive performance, inclusion, and staff engagement.
