About the role

As a Duty Manager at the Roxburgh Park Hotel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this exciting and dynamic hotel. Working on a full-time basis, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and leading your team to deliver an unparalleled guest experience.

What you'll be doing

- Deliver efficient and friendly service to all our customers
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including but not limited to the Gaming room, buffet, sportsbar, TAB and Bottleshop
- Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to, while also identifying areas for improvement
- Lead and motivate staff across different departments, providing training and development opportunities to help them excel
- Manage the hotel's inventory, including monitoring stock levels, and coordinating maintenance were applicable
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel's strategic plans and initiatives
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and venue presentation
- Follow all relevant Liquor, Gaming and workplace health and safety requirements
- Communicate operational issues and updates to Senior Management

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry,



with a solid understanding of hotel operations
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve issues
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both guests and colleagues
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
