About this Opportunity

Reporting to the Coordinator Procurement, you will play a key role in the delivery of efficient and accountable procurement services. You will:

- Lead and advise on procurement and tendering practices in line with policy and legislation
- Assist in contract documentation, tender evaluations, and register maintenance
- Ensure supplier management and compliance reporting is up to standard
- Deliver high-level customer service and guide City officers on purchasing compliance
- Maintain records, compile reports, and monitor supply needs across operational areas

This is a full-time position located within the Financial Services team.

About You

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in procurement or contract administration across various categories




- Sound knowledge of purchasing legislation, probity, and risk management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support staff at all levels
- Experience maintaining procurement records, tender documentation, and financial data
- A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Finance, Management, or similar (desirable)
- Local government experience (highly regarded)

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrates experience in procurement services, across multiple categories.
- Understanding of and experience in the tender and purchasing process through invoice and receipting
- Strong ability to communicate requirements of Procurement Guidelines to Staff at all levels throughout the organisation to support probity, accountability, and risk management.
- Demonstrated administration and analytical experience including interpretation of tender data in excel, compiling reports, business correspondence, maintaining records and presentation of facts.
- Demonstrates the ability to deliver quality customer service with a proactive and positive communication style.
- Previous experience in a Local Government would be highly regarded.

Hours of Work

This is a fixed-term, full-time position for a 12-month period, working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight.

About the Advantages

The salary range for this position is $89,483 - $104,458 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation. Other inclusions are annual increments, annual salary increases,



a generous superannuation co-contribution scheme and 22 days annual leave which attracts 17.5% loading. We also offer flexible work arrangements or the option for a rostered day off fortnightly or monthly.
