Greenacres Golf Club is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of golf club operations, member services, staff management, and financial performance. Reporting to the Board Chairperson, this role is responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience and ensuring the Club’s long‑term sustainability. This is a hands‑on leadership position overseeing course management, golf services, administration, marketing, events, sponsorship, and health & safety compliance.

Key responsibilities





- Lead daily club operations across course, golf services, membership, and administration
- Manage financial performance, budgeting, reporting, and risk
- Recruit, train, and manage staff and contractors
- Drive member engagement, customer service, and communication
- Oversee marketing, social media, events, and promotions
- Manage sponsorship, business development, and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, licensing, and employment legislation

About you

- 5–10 years’ experience in golf club management, sports operations, or hospitality management
- Solid financial management and reporting capability
- Proven team leadership, coaching, and performance management experience
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and customer‑service skills
- Knowledge of Xero, POS systems i.e. Lightspeed, or club management software advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, or Sports Management preferred
