We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a an excellent renewable energy company delivering projects across the energy and resources sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, project engineering and construction to contribute to the delivery of renewable energy projects in a dynamic, project-focused environment.

Working closely with project managers, site teams, contractors and other key stakeholders, you will play an integral role in coordinating electrical engineering activities, supporting construction and commissioning, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical standards.

The position operates on a FIFO 2:1 roster and would suit an engineer with a minimum of 3–5 years' relevant industry experience who is looking to further develop their project delivery capabilities within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the delivery of electrical engineering and project activities across renewable energy projects.
- Provide technical engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
- Work closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project milestones, budgets and schedules are achieved.
- Review electrical designs, technical documentation, specifications and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
- Monitor construction progress, identify technical issues and assist in developing practical solutions to minimise delays and project risks.
- Coordinate subcontractors and support the management of project resources, materials, procurement and site activities.
- Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Assist with project reporting, progress tracking,



risk management and the resolution of technical and construction-related challenges.
- Support testing, commissioning, defect management and final project handover.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an Electrical Engineering or Electrical Project Engineering role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience across electrical engineering, project engineering and construction activities.
- Previous experience working within the energy and resources sectors, ideally in a project delivery or site-based environment.
- Understanding of electrical design, construction methodologies, technical documentation and relevant Australian Standards.
- Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Robust understanding of project schedules, budgets, quality assurance and site safety requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness and ability to work a FIFO 2:1 roster .
