As our footprint expands across Victoria, we're growing our operational leadership team with the addition of a newly created Senior Area Manager role.

Reporting to our State Operations Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of 5-6 venues, partnering closely with Venue Leaders to drive performance, develop people, and create exceptional guest experiences. You'll play a key role in shaping the success of your regionensuring every venue consistently delivers outstanding results while maintaining the culture and energy that makes Yo-Chi so unique.

This is a role where you'll lead through influence. You'll bring a strong commercial mindset while remaining deeply connected to your people, your venues and the opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do:

- Provide operational leadership across your region, influencing performance, standards, and accountability across multiple venues.
- Lead and support a portfolio of 5–6 venues through coaching, mentoring and developing high performing Venue Leaders.
- Drive results across people, sales, labour, COGS, profitability, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
- Drive consistency and operational excellence across a growing region by identifying opportunities, embedding best practice and supporting leaders to deliver sustainable results.
- Build a high performing culture that balances accountability, development, engagement and recognition.
- Stay highly visible across your region with a hands on leadership approach that keeps you connected to the detail, the people, and the opportunities.
- Drive operational excellence through strong oversight of audits, compliance, stock control, labour management, and reporting.




- Use performance insights, audits, and commercial data to influence decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Protect and elevate product quality, guest experience, and brand standards as the business continues to grow.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Support Office teams to deliver local initiatives, activations, and venue success.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational best practice.

About you:

- 5+ years’ experience in an Area Manager, Operations Manager or equivalent position within hospitality or QSR
- Experience directly managing and influencing Senior leaders and Venue Managers or equivalent leadership roles
- Strong commercial capability across sales, labour, COGS, profitability, and cost control.
- A proactive, people first leader who takes ownership and leads through influence.
- Exceptional coaching and development skills with a track record of building high performing teams.
- Strong ability to balance people leadership, operational execution, and commercial outcomes.
- A leader who sets clear expectations, holds standards high, and drives accountability.
- Hands on, proactive, and highly engaged.
