Restaurant Manager - Isabella's Restaurant

Rochford Wines is a family-owned winery in the heart of the Yarra Valley, offering exceptional wines, dining, weddings and events. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house operations at Isabella’s Restaurant and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who takes pride in service standards, team development and creating memorable dining experiences.

About the role

Reporting to the Hospitality Operations Manager, you will take ownership of Isabella's day-to-day restaurant operations, leading the team and ensuring every service runs smoothly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

- Leading, developing and engaging the front-of-house team
- Maintaining exceptional customer service and consistent sequence of service
- Overseeing daily operations, service preparation, bookings and staff rostering
- Managing labour, stock and operational costs to support commercial performance
- Coordinating with the Cellar Door team on wine tasting and dining packages, and actively promoting wine sales and experiences




- Working closely with the il Vigneto Restaurant Manager to coordinate shared staff and resources across both restaurants
- Supporting the delivery of weddings, functions and special events

About you

You are an organised and confident hospitality professional who leads by example, remains calm under pressure and understands that great service starts with a well-prepared, well-supported team.

- Proven experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality role
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and attention to detail
- A customer-first approach and a passion for hospitality
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of labour and cost control
- The ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, weddings and functions as required
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
- Wine knowledge is advantageous, along with an interest in sharing the Rochford Wines experience with our guests
