The Grand Hotel Healesville is looking for an experienced and reliable Crowd Controller to join our team for regular Friday and Saturday night shifts. We're a country pub in a small community, so we know positive security is as much about people skills as it is crowd control.

You'll need to be friendly and approachable with our regulars, know how to read a situation and be experienced enough to step in calmly when needed. We're not after a nightclub-style approach. We want someone who understands the relaxed, community feel of a country pub while still keeping our staff and patrons safe.

What you'll do

- Work Friday and Saturday night shifts, with regular ongoing work
- Monitor the bar, beer garden and surrounding areas
- Keep an eye on patron behaviour and RSA issues
- De-escalate situations calmly before they become a problem
- Assist staff with refusing entry or removing patrons when necessary




- Help us maintain a safe, friendly environment for everyone

About you

- Current Victorian Crowd Controller licence
- Experience in pub, bar or hospitality security
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident without being confrontational
- Friendly, approachable and able to have a laugh
- Good judgement and strong communication skills
- An understanding of country pub culture and a close-knit community
