Are you looking to take the next step in the renewable energy, battery storage or power infrastructure sector?

We’re keen to connect with engineering, technical and project delivery professionals across South Australia who have experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, high-voltage infrastructure or power generation.

We’re interested in speaking with professionals at all levels, from hands-on electrical and commissioning specialists through to experienced engineers, supervisors and project leaders, who are interested in contributing to major energy and infrastructure projects.

Roles and disciplines of interest We welcome expressions of interest from professionals across a range of disciplines, including:

- Project Engineering & Management: Electrical Project Engineers, BESS Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Managers
- Electrical & Power Systems: Electrical Engineers, HV Engineers, Protection Engineers, Substation Engineers and Grid Connection Engineers
- Commissioning & Testing: Commissioning Engineers, Commissioning Managers, Protection Testing Engineers and Commissioning Technicians
- Site & Electrical Delivery: Electrical Supervisors, Electrical Superintendents, HV Electricians, HV Technicians and Site Engineers
- Controls & Automation: SCADA Engineers, Control Systems Engineers, PLC Engineers and EMS/PPC Specialists
- Civil & Structural: Civil Project Engineers, Structural Engineers and Design Engineers
- Operations & Maintenance: BESS Service Engineers, Asset Performance Engineers, Reliability Engineers and O&M; Specialists

What experience are we looking for? We’re particularly interested in professionals with experience in one or more of the following:
- Utility-scale battery energy storage projects
- Solar, wind and renewable energy infrastructure

- Electrical design, project engineering and technical documentation
- Protection systems, SCADA, control systems and automation
- Testing, commissioning, energisation and grid compliance
- Electrical construction, site supervision and contractor coordination
- Power generation, asset maintenance and fault-finding

Direct BESS experience is advantageous but not essential. Candidates from utilities, power generation, mining, industrial electrical, automation and major infrastructure projects are also encouraged to apply. Why consider the sector? With opportunities spanning project development, engineering, construction, commissioning and ongoing asset operations, battery storage and renewable energy offer a range of career pathways for experienced technical professionals.

Whether you already work in BESS or are looking to transfer your skills into the sector, we’d welcome a confidential conversation about your experience, career goals and the opportunities that may suit you.

Location: South Australia, including Adelaide and regional project locations. Travel and site-based work may be required depending on the role.
