Enrolled Nurse / Exercise Scientist / Occupational Health Technician

$75,000/pa - $78,000/pa (based on experience)

The Opportunity

Due to an expansion of our services, we are seeking to employ a dedicated full-time Enrolled Nurse / Exercise Scientist / Occupational Health Technician for our new clinic located in Mackay, Queensland.

The successful candidate will be fully trained in all aspects of health screening and will enjoy the benefits of working within a multi-disciplined team.

About the role The duties and responsibilities of the role include:

- Occupational Health Technician scope of work
- Pre-employment medical assessments
- Functional assessments
- Drug and alcohol screening
- Audiometry
- Spirometry




- From time to time there will also be other occupational and health projects undertaken such as health and wellness projects and injury prevention activities.

What we’re looking for You will need to possess the following:

- AHRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse; or
- Bachelor of Health Science (Sport and Exercise Science); and accreditation as an Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- HLTAID009; HLTAID010 & HLTAID011 First Aid Certificates
- Current Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue)

Desirable experience includes:

- HLTPAT010 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing certificate
- Initial Spirometry Certificate
- Experience in Audiometry
- Experience in occupational health screening
- Experience conducting basic medical assessments and physical testing
