Events Chef

At Swings & Roundabouts, we host everything from relaxed long lunches to 150-guest weddings, and we're looking for an experienced Events Chef to take ownership of our events food offering.

This is a role for someone who loves the challenge of event execution. Planning, staying organised, leading a team and delivering great food for large groups, all while keeping calm when the pressure is on.

Our kitchen team has experience in daily restaurant service. What we're looking for is someone who brings specialist experience in weddings, functions, banquets or catering and can lead that side of the operation with confidence.

You'll be responsible for planning and delivering wedding and event food service across the business. Between events, you'll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, leading a section and supporting day-to-day operations through prep or service, depending on where your strengths lie.

About You

- You've successfully delivered weddings, functions, banquets or catered events.
- You understand that event service is different to restaurant service.




- You're organised, proactive and can see three steps ahead.
- You enjoy leading people and bringing a team together to achieve a great result.
- You're practical, calm under pressure and solutions focused.
- You take pride in serving honest, quality food and creating memorable experiences for guests.
