Exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to work with a Founder (Group CEO) and CEO leadership team, supporting them across their rapidly growing and globally expanding business in marketing and brand strategy.
The role will be broad and varied, spanning business and diary administration, general support, some life admin tasks, as well as pro-actively managing the leadership team, with the overall aim of freeing them up to focus on the areas where they add the most value.
The role is 3 days per week, but with hours spread across 4 days (Monday to Thursday), with some flexibility desired. (Advertised salary is Full Time Equivalent)
The role can be worked fully remotely, but you would need to be based in the greater Sydney area (The Group CEO is based in Wollongong, the CEO in Sydney).
The ideal candidate would be:
- Highly organized and task-focused. The CEO and Group CEO both need help with organisation, so we need someone who is naturally at the opposite end of that spectrum and genuinely complements the leadership team.
- Robust enough to manage the CEO/Group CEO, as well as their diaries. We need someone who is comfortable holding the leadership team accountable, keeping them focused on priorities and telling them when they're disappearing down a rabbit hole that isn’t important!
- Very proactive. Ideally they’re someone who spots what needs doing and just gets it handled.
- Able to create structure. Someone who proactively keeps track of commitments, follows things through, closes loops and makes sure things don’t fall between the cracks.
- Experienced in supporting a founder, entrepreneur or growing business. Particularly someone who understands an entrepreneurial environment where things move quickly and there isn’t always a large corporate structure around you.
- Protective of the leadership team's time. Someone who can judge what really requires their attention, can confidently manage access and help ensure their time is being spent on the highest-value things.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills. They’ll be dealing with senior leaders around the world, as well as their EAs and teams, so they need to be polished, warm and confident with people at all levels.
- Highly trustworthy and discreet. Given the mix of business and personal matters they’ll be exposed to, confidentiality and judgment are essential.
The key factor: Does this person not only make our lives easier, but actually make us more effective? The right person will provide the organization, structure and follow-through that naturally complements how we work. The broader team are spread around Australia, with a fun culture that places emphasis on health and well being and work-life balance.
