The Rustic Secret Garden – Where nature meets the table

Location: Located in Mulgoa, around 15 minutes’ drive from Penrith.

Set among glasshouse and garden spaces in Mulgoa, The Rustic Secret Garden is a busy restaurant and event venue known for beautiful food, High Tea and celebrations of all sizes. We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team.

About the role

- Cooking for our à la carte restaurant service
- Supporting events from 20 to 200 guests, with 2–3 events most weeks
- Keeping your section prepped, clean and running smoothly during busy services
- Working with our team to keep food quality high across every plate
- Following food safety standards in our Halal-certified kitchen

What you’ll need

- Proven experience as a chef in a busy commercial kitchen
- Confident on at least 2 of these 3 sections:
- Pasta
- Grill
- Woodfire pizza
- A reliable car and current driver’s licence. We are not close to public transport, so this is essential.




- Availability on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work calmly under pressure during peak service and events
- Full working rights in Australia
