The Role

The Pier Port Melbourne is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Front of House All-Rounders to join our team for the busy summer and events season. We are a well-established waterfront restaurant, bar and private functions venue, hosting everything from à la carte dining to large cocktail parties, weddings, corporate functions and seated events.

We're looking for confident hospitality professionals who enjoy variety and are equally comfortable working behind a busy bar, managing a restaurant section or delivering excellent service at private functions.

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will ideally demonstrate:

- Experience in a busy restaurant, bar or functions environment.
- Confidence working across both bar and floor service.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
- Experience managing a restaurant section and providing attentive, skilled table service.
- Experience working at cocktail-style functions, weddings or seated events.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and use initiative during busy services.
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Willing and able to undertake physical duties, including safely lifting and moving tables, chairs and equipment, as well as assisting with function set-ups and pack-downs.
- Reliability,



punctuality and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- A current Victorian RSA certificate.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is essential, including evenings and late finishes when required. Applicants must be available throughout our busy summer season, particularly during November and December.

The Pier Port Melbourne is an iconic waterfront restaurant and events venue overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Our restaurant offers modern Asian-fusion cuisine alongside a diverse beverage selection, while our private event spaces host weddings, celebrations, corporate functions and everything in between.

Located at 1 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, our restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday, with private events held Monday-Sunday
