Mr Scott’s Maintenance Services is a growing commercial and domestic maintenance business on the Gold Coast, and we’re looking for handypeople to join our team. A plastering and painting background is preferred, but you don’t need to be trade qualified.
About you
- Friendly, hardworking and task-focused, with good attention to detail
- Confident with plastering and painting, plus general handyman jobs like replacing flyscreens and door locks
- Hands-on commercial and domestic maintenance experience
- A proactive approach to safety, sound knowledge of onsite WH&S;, and an effective way of working
- Comfortable using iphones and job management apps
You’ll need
- A clean, full Australian driver’s licence
- A current police check
- A construction White Card
The role
- Attending new jobs to assess the issue and work out what’s needed
- Explaining clearly to customers what needs doing and why
- Completing work to a high standard
- Getting customer sign-off on completed work
- Keeping the job system up to date
