Garden City Plastics is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Storeperson to join our warehouse operations team in Dandenong South, VIC 3175. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our daily logistics and distribution operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse, ensuring optimal stock management and timely dispatch of products to our customers. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth running of our warehouse and supporting our commitment to delivering quality service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move, stack and store goods safely and efficiently
- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and inventory
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse to ensure clear aisles and safe storage practices
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely manner
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Reporting any equipment faults or safety hazards to management immediately
- Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative warehouse environment

What we're looking for

- Current and valid forklift licence (High Risk Work Licence
- Proven experience as a forklift driver or storeperson in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling duties




- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management and record keeping
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new systems and equipment
