We are seeking a Service Manager to join THE AFTER SCHOOL KLUB at Beaumont Hills Public School, Sydney NSW. This is a full-time position offering 4 block shifts (10am to 6pm) plus 1 split shift across mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and quality assurance of our service, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of care whilst meeting regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal to our success and will have a direct impact on the experiences of the children and of the families who trust us with their care.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the before and after school care service, ensuring a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards, including the National Quality Standard (NQS) and duty of care requirements
- Maintain accurate records,



documentation and reporting systems to meet regulatory and operational requirements
- Ensure policies and procedures that promote child safety, wellbeing and development are followed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, community partners and stakeholders
- Manage staff rostering and programming
- Respond to parent enquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

- Current certification in First Aid and CPR, with a commitment to maintaining these qualifications
- Proven experience managing before and after school care services, with demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Standard
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Sound understanding of child safety, protection and wellbeing frameworks, including mandatory reporting obligations
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
- Experience with quality improvement frameworks and regulatory compliance is highly desirable
