Licensed Electricians, Solar & Battery - Multiple Full-Time Positions Available

Sinclair Renewable Energy - Heatherbrae NSW

Are you a licensed electrician looking for an opportunity to be part of a crew that genuinely works well together and holds the same standard on every job?

Are you the type of person who is allergic to shoddy work, and still does it right when no one's checking?

Do you see yourself as a master of your trade, someone who knows it back to front and is happy to pass it on?

$45 to $55 per hour + super + overtime (depending on experience)
Work vehicle supplied | Monthly RDO | Solar and battery accreditation paid for after your first 6 months

We have multiple full-time positions available. You'll work out of our Heatherbrae workshop on jobs across Port Stephens, Newcastle and Maitland. It's local work, with no endless travel. Most days are standard hours. Some overtime is needed to get the job done, and it's paid at 1.5x and 2x.

The Role
Most of the role is installing new solar and battery systems. Every job is a private install for our own customers. We use quality equipment and quote enough time to do the work properly. There's no subcontract work where you're rushed into cutting corners just to get the job done.

If you have experience in any of the following, we want to hear from you:

Switchboard upgrades

Fault finding

Solar PV and inverter installations

Battery and backup systems

Supervising and teaching apprentices

No solar experience? That's fine if your electrical skills are strong. We'll train you.

You Must Have

Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence

Solid residential electrical experience

White Card

A good attitude. We've built a great crew and we're protective of it.

This won’t suit you if

You'd rather work alone than have an apprentice asking questions all day

You think compliance photos and paperwork are someone else's job

You do it your way rather than the team's way

You'd leave a customer without power because it hit knock-off time

You leave the site for someone else to clean up

If that's not you, keep reading.

About Us
Sinclair Renewable Energy is a solar and battery company based in Heatherbrae. We've been servicing homes across Port Stephens, Newcastle and Maitland since 2021.

We believe happy staff do positive work, good work makes happy customers, and happy customers are how we've built our reputation. That's why we look after our team first.

We're a tight crew of sparkies, apprentices and office staff who genuinely get along, back each other and take pride in everything we put our name on. Nobody here is a number, and egos don't last. We're growing, and we're picky about who joins, because the culture we've built is what we're proudest of.
