We're looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our Bibra Lake workshop, bringing strong TIG and MIG welding skills and a passion for producing high-quality work. Working with aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel, you'll contribute to specialised engineering projects supporting marine, subsea and offshore applications.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of challenging fabrication work, collaborate with experienced technical teams and share your knowledge with apprentices and junior team members.

About the Role

As a Fabricator at TMT, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality fabrication and welding solutions across a range of marine and offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Oxyacetylene welding
- Fabricate components using aluminium, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Cut, roll, bend, shape, and assemble metal components
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards




- Maintain accurate welding and quality documentation
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain equipment and uphold safety standards

About You

- Certificate III in Fabrication Trade (or related discipline)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a welder/fabricator
- Strong TIG & MIG welding experience in aluminium, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Previous oil & gas industry experience (highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding codes, metals, and alloys
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong time management
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
