Yaunati is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join an established organisation in Perth.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining strong debtor management processes and supporting broader financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end to end accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, payment allocations and debtor reconciliations.
- Preparing and processing invoices accurately and in accordance with contractual rates, agreed terms and supporting documentation.
- Reviewing billing information, including timesheets, service records, minimum chargeable hours and applicable rate adjustments.
- Processing invoice amendments, credits and adjustments, including changes to service periods and off-hire arrangements where applicable.
- Monitoring aged debtors, following up outstanding payments and maintaining effective credit control procedures.
- Managing customer account enquiries, investigating discrepancies and resolving invoice disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate customer accounts, financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations, reporting and general ledger activities.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure billing information is accurate and submitted within required timeframes.
- Supporting accounts payable and other transactional finance functions when required.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of financial processes, accuracy and operational efficiency.
About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer, Credit Controller or similar position.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, debtor management and reconciliations.
- Experience managing customer accounts, following up overdue payments and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Confidence working with contractual rates, variable invoicing arrangements and supporting documentation.
- Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero, with sound Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage a busy workload.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach to work.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Previous experience in a high volume, operational or contract-based billing environment will be highly regarded. What's on Offer
