About the role

This is a hands-on role involving a diverse range of workshop work. You will work across manual lathe, milling, and line borer machine operations, manufacture and repair of components, CNC plasma operations and design, machinery repairs and maintenance, fitting and assembly work, welding and fabrication, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fault finding and troubleshooting, and working to quality and safety standards.

About you

- Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner, Machinist or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years' post-trade experience
- Robust experience operating manual lathes and milling machines horizontal line borer
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining to close tolerances and time frames
- Competent using precision measuring equipment including micrometers,



dial indicators, and bore gauges
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
