Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicatedStaff Specialist in Psychiatry to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role of Staff Specialist in Consultant Liaison Psychiatry is to provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in psychiatry, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service and Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist in Psychiatry will work as one of a number of staff specialist psychiatrists within a Consultation Liaison Psychiatry service with the main role based at the Concord Repatriation General Hospital Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic, providing direct care and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary pain management team.

The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA),



and Fellowship of the Royal Australian Current Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Position is currently available.

Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
