About the role

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and understands that keeping a transport fleet moving starts with getting the basics right. You will work locally in Welshpool in an established transport and logistics operation, combining forklift operation, truck tyre fitting and practical yard duties.

Key responsibilities

- Operating forklifts to move tyres, equipment and freight safely
- Fitting, removing and replacing truck tyres
- Checking tyre condition, wear and pressures, and reporting defects
- Assisting with loading, unloading and general yard duties
- Keeping tools, equipment and work areas tidy and ready for use
- Following safe work procedures when handling tyres, wheels and heavy equipment

About you

- A current LF forklift licence and practical operating experience




- Previous truck tyre fitting experience and confidence using relevant tools and equipment
- The physical fitness to safely carry out manual handling and hands-on duties throughout your shift
- Reliable transport and a dependable approach to attendance
- A solid focus on safety, attention to detail and willingness to help the team
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical, if required
- Valid Australian work rights
