TRUCK MECHANIC

Location: Perth

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000 to $95,000 p.a. plus super

We are seeking a reliable, experienced motor/truck mechanic to join our team at WA Outback Pty Ltd.

The role includes

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing light and heavy trucks.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Dismantling and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, brakes and other parts
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Keeping accurate service records
- Carry out all work safely and competently.

What we are looking for

- AQF Certificate III with 2 years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or another relevant trade qualification




- 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of the formal qualifications will be considered.
- At least 1 year of full time or part-time equivalent relevant and practical workshop work experience.
- Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A heavy vehicle licence.
