As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, reliable and detail-oriented Gelato Maker to join our production team.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Gelato Maker to join our central production kitchen.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality gelato, enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment and has a genuine passion for food.

You will be involved in the preparation and production of our gelato, ensuring every batch meets our quality, consistency and presentation standards before being distributed to our stores.

Previous gelato-making experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to candidates with relevant kitchen, pastry, baking or food production experience who are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and produce gelato according to established recipes and production procedures
- Measure, weigh and prepare ingredients accurately
- Operate gelato-making equipment and production machinery
- Maintain consistent product quality, flavour and texture
- Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering and inventory management
- Label, store and organise ingredients and finished products correctly
- Assist with packing and preparing gelato for distribution to our stores
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient production kitchen




- Follow production schedules to ensure stores receive their gelato on time
- Minimise waste and maintain careful control of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with the production team to support daily operations

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in gelato making, ice cream production, pastry, baking, commercial kitchens or food manufacturing
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- A genuine passion for food quality and product consistency
- The ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Permanent, unrestricted working rights in Australia
