An enthusiastic Storeperson is required to join our busy warehouse and distribution team in Mickleham, VIC. This is a full-time position with a leading Timber Distribution Company. The business has been operating for 40 years and this role provides a great prospect to work in an excellent team environment. “Above award” wages and conditions will be paid for the role.

Key responsibilities include the following:

- All elements of forklift operation including picking and loading customer orders
- Receiving stock and ensuring that inventory is stored efficiently




- Picking and packing customer orders both by hand and through use of equipment.
- Work as part of a strong team to maintain a safe, clean & efficient warehouse

Qualifications & experience

We require a strong candidate with a clear work ethic and good communication skills. The following is also required for the ideal candidate.

- Safety orientation and commitment
- Hold current forklift licence
- Reliable, punctual person who can work as part of a team
- Experience in handling timber products will be very highly regarded
- Prior warehouse experience
- The successful candidate must have full legal rights to work in Australia.
