About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join ALIGRA TRADE PTY LTD in Port Adelaide, South Australia. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to drive new business growth and expand our market presence. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing innovative solutions to support the company's expansion objectives. This role is pivotal in positioning ALIGRA TRADE as a market leader and will require you to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying and securing recent business opportunities
- Building long-term relationships with builders, tilers, contractors and trade customers
- Providing product advice and tailored solutions
- Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities




- Working closely with suppliers and internal teams
- Managing warehouse product sales and stock promotions
- Achieving sales targets and business KPIs

About you

- 2+ years of sales experience (construction industry preferred)
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Current driver's licence
