As our business continues to grow, transport plays a critical role in delivering great service to our customers and supporting our operations nationwide. We're looking for an experienced Transport Manager to lead transport operations, drive continuous improvement and ensure our deliveries are safe, efficient and cost-effective.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of transport performance, working closely with our Transport team and key stakeholders across the business to improve service delivery, safety, productivity and commercial outcomes.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Oversee daily outbound transport operations, ensuring delivery schedules, productivity and service targets are consistently achieved.
- Lead and support the Transport team, fostering accountability, collaboration and a strong safety‑first culture.
- Drive DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) performance and ensure a high standard of customer service across outbound deliveries.
- Act as the escalation point for delivery issues and customer service enquiries, working proactively to resolve challenges.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements,



Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
- Monitor transport KPIs, analyse performance and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, service and cost control.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across transport, fleet and distribution operations.
- Lead transport and logistics projects from planning through to implementation, monitoring and review.
- Oversee fleet and asset management, ensuring assets are maintained, utilised effectively and aligned with operational requirements.
- Manage pallet control initiatives and support the achievement of budgeted transport and commercial outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, IT, Sales and Finance to improve end‑to‑end performance.
- Support the optimisation and effective use of Transport Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and freight management platforms.
- Provide clear operational reporting, performance insights and recommendations to leadership.

What You'll Bring

- At least five years' experience in transport, logistics, supply chain or distribution operations.
- Proven experience leading teams within a transport, warehouse, FMCG or distribution environment.




- Strong understanding of outbound transport, freight operations, fleet management and delivery performance.
- Sound knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Experience using TMS, WMS and ERP systems, with an interest in improving systems and processes.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage costs, monitor budgets and improve operational performance.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.
- A customer‑focused approach and a commitment to secure, reliable and efficient delivery outcomes.
