Join a highly regarded national firm and become part of a substantial litigation practice acting on significant government, regulatory and commercial disputes.

This is a rare prospect to work on one of the largest Commonwealth Government actions ever commenced, with the matter already well advanced through the court process.

You’ll join the team at a pivotal stage of the litigation, working alongside experienced practitioners on a complex matter expected to continue for several years, while gaining broader exposure to sophisticated government and regulatory disputes.

The Opportunity

Working within a large national disputes team, you’ll collaborate with lawyers across multiple offices while developing valuable expertise across government, regulatory and commercial litigation.

Your work will include

A landmark Commonwealth Government action

Complex commercial and regulatory disputes

Government and public interest litigation

Large-scale document review and evidence analysis

Witness preparation and evidence management

Coordinating expert and lay witnesses across Australia and internationally

Legal research, drafting and strategic litigation support

Alongside this major matter, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse disputes practice, including:

Regulatory investigations, including competition matters

Judicial review proceedings





Administrative law and statutory interpretation

Regulatory disputes and compliance

Privacy, confidentiality and information-sharing disputes

Right to Information and privilege matters

Public sector advisory work for State and Commonwealth Government clients

About You

We’re seeking lawyers with 2–4 years’ PAE and experience in commercial litigation.

You’ll enjoy working collaboratively while being comfortable taking ownership of your matters. Strong analytical skills, excellent academics and a genuine interest in complex public sector and regulatory litigation will be highly regarded.
