Grader Operator | FIFO 2:1 Karratha or Newman | $70 - $85 Per Hour + Super

We’re chasing experienced Grader Operators for FIFO work across Karratha and Newman.

You’ll be working 11.5-hour shifts on a 2:1 swing, 2 weeks on and 1 week off, with both day and night shift available.

Rates sit between $70 - $85 per hour, with super paid on every hour worked.

If you’ve got the experience, confidence on the controls and know how to deliver a clean finish, this could be a very worthwhile next swing.

The opportunity

This is for operators who know their way around a grader.

You’ll be joining established site teams where safety matters, standards are high and experienced operators are valued for what they bring to the job.

Already inducted with BHP or Rio Tinto? Even Better.

Your role

Your work may include

- Grader operations across mining and civil projects
- Haul road and access road construction and maintenance
- Maintaining batters, windrows and site surfaces
- Final trim and general earthworks
- Pre-starts and daily machine inspections
- Working around other heavy mobile equipment
- Maintaining safe and productive operating standards throughout your swing

About you We want to hear from operators who have:

- At least 18 months' experience in a comparable Grader Operator position
- Proven grader experience within mining or civil works
- Relevant grader tickets and required site competencies
- A strong understanding of safe plant operation
- Confidence working around heavy mobile equipment
- Availability for both day and night shift
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
- BHP and/or Rio Tinto inductions are highly regarded
