About the role

Reisen is looking for a Guest Services Agent to join the team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a pivotal role in delivery of guest services at this unique destination where heritage, art, culture, winery and wellness experiences meet hospitality.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome guests and visitors on arrival.
- Ensure the check in / Check out process is smooth and seamless.
- Attend to guest inquiries in person, on the phone, via email or through the hotel website and RMS booking facilities.
- Manage guest bookings, by identifying their needs, verifying availability, explaining room options, rates, and special promotions as well as cancellation policies.
- Promote hotel facilities, amenities and products.
- Assist with group bookings and liaise with travel agents, partners and corporate clients.
- Ensure special requests and VIP bookings are handled with care and attention to detail.
- Resolve guest issues or complaints in a skilled and timely manner.
- Provide local area information, recommendations and suggestions to guests.
- Support team with other daily tasks, to meet operational needs.

About you

- Proven working in a service/hospitality environment.




- Positive and welcoming phone demeanour and superior written and verbal communications.
- A service orientation and attention to detail.
- Dedication to delivering unique guest experiences.
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle guest concerns, emergencies under pressure.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office software.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to working over a 7 day roster, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
- Professional presentation.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Police check required or willing to obtain before commencement of employment.
