I'm looking for a Handyman or construction labourer to help building a brick pier and chimney repairs at our house in Waratah, Newcastle, NSW. The job will include things like:

- Masonry demolition,
- Brickwork repair / replacement,
- Site cleaning,
- and other building / construction tasks.

I expect its going to take about 2 - 5 days to get the job done. Pay: $30hr - about 8hr day (nominally 8:30 to 5pm with 1/2 hr lunch)

You should

- have prior experience in construction
- be ability to think about the task and predict the next step to assist

Ideally someone with building or trade experience who can mix mortar in a mixer under instruction, pass bricks, use demolition tools (Mini jack-hammer and large angle grinder, etc) to demo part of the chimney before we rebuild it. I anticipate this would suit someone on a working visa who is around Newcastle or a ocal looking for a few days work during the week.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
