Key responsibilities

- Ensure accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payrolls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, systems and databases.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, MHCG Policies and the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).
- Provide a high level of customer service when addressing employee payroll queries.
- Processing new hires, transfers and terminations.
- Assist with maintenance of the payroll system.
- Prepare and process termination payments and workers’ compensation payments.
- Prepare and process fortnightly and monthly reports.
- Perform ad hoc payroll tasks and respond to related queries.

Skills and requirements

- Qualification in Payroll, Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent or relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.




- Previous experience in Health or Aged Care highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ownership of your work.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Salary

Expected salary range: $93,500 to $126,500 AUD.
