Hostel – Reception, Bar & Guest Experience

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Hospitality All Rounder with proven experience in bar operations , Reception, and guest services , plus a willingness to assist with housekeeping when needed. This hands-on role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, shows initiative and takes pride in their work. Professionalism, attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Bar Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and snack items; provide friendly service to guests and patrons; clean and clear tables; follow RSA requirements; and maintain stock and cleanliness.
- Reception & Guest Services: Manage check-ins/check-outs, handle guest enquiries, coordinate bookings, and provide local information.
- Housekeeping & General Upkeep: Carry out general tidying, keeping communal spaces clean,



tidy and welcoming throughout the day during reception shifts.
- General Hospitality Support: Assist with events, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and support team operations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in hospitality, ideally across multiple roles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- RSA certification must be obtained within the first week if not already held

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
