About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Tilt Tray Operator to join our dynamic team at Gecko Logistics Group in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time position based at our Welshpool depot (WA 6106). As an HR Tilt Tray Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tilt tray vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles and equipment to clients across Western Australia.

This role is essential to our operations, as you will be a key member of the transport team delivering quality service to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

- Operating tilt tray vehicles safely and professionally in accordance with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
- Loading and unloading vehicles and equipment using appropriate tilt tray procedures and equipment
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or damage
- Maintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and records in a timely manner
- Ensuring all loads are secured and transported safely to maintain client satisfaction and protect assets
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any delays
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements and company policies at all times
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and depot facilities




- Contributing to a positive workplace culture through teamwork and professional conduct

What we're looking for

- A valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (class HR or HC) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a tilt tray operator or in a similar road transport role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle loading procedures, load securing and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to health and safety
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy loads safely
- A current medical certificate (as required by transport regulations)
- Competency in basic vehicle maintenance and fault reporting
- Experience with transport management systems or digital logbook software is desirable
