About the role

This is a practical role supporting recruitment, employee administration and everyday HR business processes.

The role suits someone who enjoys supporting people, organising information and helping a small business run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with HR processes, recruitment, applicant screening and interview coordination.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Assist with routine employee enquiries.
- Coordinate probation and performance review administration.
- Maintain HR registers and follow up required documentation.
- Track tasks, deadlines and outstanding actions.
- Support general business administration and improve everyday processes.

About you

- Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment or a similar people-support role.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and confidentiality.




- Ability to progress agreed tasks independently and follow through to completion.
- Sound judgement about when to act and when to seek guidance.
- Confidence using spreadsheets, documents and business systems.

- HR qualifications and experience in mining services, rail, civil construction or labour hire would be advantageous.

Position details

- negotiable roster for the right candidate with flexibility to work from home, office & onsite
- Residential role for Port Hedland / South Hedland

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Strong understanding and high regard for secure working practices
- Previous experience to the position applied for with relevant qualifications
- Based in Western Australia with preference to local within the Pilbara
- Full C class drivers’ license
- Ability to pass Rail Medical requirements
