About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Finance Specialist to join the team in Adelaide. This is a varied position combining end-to-end payroll ownership with broader finance responsibilities.

Payroll will be a key focus of the role, with the successful candidate taking ownership of the payroll function as a standalone payroll specialist. You will also provide support across general finance and accounting activities, making this an chance for someone who enjoys working across both payroll and finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process independently
- Take ownership of the payroll function and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and information
- Process new starters, terminations, leave, salary changes and other payroll adjustments
- Manage payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure payroll processes comply with relevant legislation and requirements
- Maintain payroll documentation and records

Finance & Accounting

- Provide support across accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation




- Assist with finance reporting and administrative requirements
- Provide general support to the Finance team as required

About You

- Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of the payroll function
- Previous experience in finance, accounting or accounts administration
- Good understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience using payroll and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
