About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you will play an integral part in the smooth running of the practice. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, works with urgency, and consistently stays one step ahead.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing genuinely caring and compassionate patient care
- Taking initiative and anticipating the needs of dentists and patients
- Preparing surgeries efficiently in line with the daily schedule
- Chair-side assisting across a wide range of procedures




- Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Managing instrument flow and clinical setup with efficiency
- Multitasking and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Managing patient appointments using D4W
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Supporting reception when required
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised clinical setting

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who:

- Experience in dental assisting and/or dental reception
- Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability in their role
- Is highly switched on, observant, and proactive
- Works with urgency and efficiency without compromising quality
- Is career-focused and seeking a long-term position
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates excellent communication and patient care skills
- Maintains a calm and professional manner under pressure
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- 2–5 days per week, including some Saturdays
- Opportunity for long-term growth
- Potential to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right candidate

This role is not suited to candidates seeking short-term or university-based casual work.

Skills & Experience

- Previous dental assisting experience essential
- Exposure to reception duties and D4W highly advantageous
- Strong customer service skills essential
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident required
