About the Role Townsville Auto Group is seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Retail Manager to oversee and support our busy automotive service operations. Be Doing
- Lead and support a team of automotive technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor team performance, productivity and operational efficiency to ensure business targets are achieved.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, employee performance and overall department profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and expectations are met.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management and other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations.
What We're Looking For We are looking for a confident and proactive leader who can motivate a team, manage competing priorities and take ownership of departmental performance. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in automotive retail, dealership service or fleet service operations, preferably in a management or leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate and support a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to building lasting customer relationships.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy automotive setting.
