About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in reviewing and analysing our organisation's business intentions, services, processes, and information needs.
Your primary objective will be to identify and document changes that lead to meaningful operational and strategic improvements. You will collaborate with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and support teams to ensure our business processes remain efficient, effective, and fully aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation: Manage and support the rollout of strategic, project-related business intelligence solutions and reporting frameworks. Drive organizational performance, evidence-based decision-making, and transparency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key stakeholders to map current and future business processes, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Performance Analysis: Analyse and measure organizational performance against key business goals. Identify and champion process improvements that enhance operational outcomes.
- Business Intelligence Development: Develop, analyse, and review business intelligence, reporting metrics,
and operational analytics to support organizational performance.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Conduct functional and usability testing against business requirements for system enhancements and new implementations.
- Business Process Modelling: Create and maintain detailed process models, system documentation, and end-to-end process workflows.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT across end-users, delivery managers, and technical team members in multiple regions, including Australia, the Philippines, and Latin America.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare detailed end-user documentation and training manuals to facilitate seamless transitions during software releases and system implementations.
- Agile Delivery: Continually evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and deliver robust solutions using Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record as an ICT Business Analyst (ANZSCO 261111 or equivalent scope).
- Strong practical expertise in business process mapping, business intelligence (BI), data analytics, and reporting.
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and change management.
- Direct experience in designing, writing, and executing test plans, test cases, and UAT cycles.
- Proficiency with business process modelling techniques and workflow documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence).
- Strong working knowledge of Agile project delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
