Are you an experienced ICT procurement professional who enjoys solving complex technology procurement challenges, building strong relationships and working directly with clients?
We’re partnering with an established consulting firm looking to add an experienced ICT Procurement Consultant to its growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong technical procurement capability with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in consulting, client engagement and business development .
You’ll work directly with external clients, helping them navigate ICT procurement and achieve stronger commercial outcomes across areas such as software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, managed services and other technology solutions .
The Role
Working across a variety of client engagements, you will:
- Lead and support complex ICT procurement and strategic sourcing activities
- Develop procurement and sourcing strategies aligned to client requirements
- Manage RFx processes, tender evaluations, negotiations and contract outcomes
- Advise clients on technology procurement, commercial considerations and supplier selection
- Engage with technology vendors and negotiate commercial arrangements
- Build trusted relationships with procurement, technology and senior client stakeholders
- Guide clients through procurement processes and communicate complex information clearly
- Identify opportunities to provide additional support and solutions to existing and prospective clients
- Contribute to business development and sales activity , helping grow long-term client relationships
About You We’re particularly interested in someone who brings:
- Strong hands-on ICT procurement and strategic sourcing experience
- Experience procuring technology solutions across areas such as software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure or managed services
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation capability
- Confidence managing competitive tenders and complex supplier negotiations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A natural ability to establish credibility and build strong client relationships
- A consultative approach, with the ability to understand a client’s needs and guide them towards practical solutions
- Commercial confidence and an openness to sales and business development as part of your role
- The ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a collaborative consulting environment
