Intermediate / Senior Accountant - Port Macquarie, NSW

About The Role A well-established, full-service Chartered Accounting firm in the heart of Port Macquarie is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their growing team. With an integrated wealth management division and a loyal client base spanning business services, tax and financial planning, this firm offers genuine career depth in a lifestyle location. You will manage your own client portfolio, work closely with experienced principals and have real scope to grow.

What You Will Be Doing

- Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client base including companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF
- Business services and tax compliance across a range of industries
- Tax planning and advisory work for small to medium business clients
- Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Reviewing and mentoring junior accountants
- Xero and cloud accounting file management

What We Are Looking For

- 3+ years experience in public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualified, or working towards
- Strong business services and tax compliance background
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Xero proficiency




- Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce
