Internal Sales Support UPS Specialist /n We are seeking a customer-focused and technically minded Internal Sales Support Specialist to join a growing team in Sydney, supporting the sales of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and critical power solutions. /n In this role, you will be a key liaison between the sales team, customers, distributors, resellers, and internal departments.

/n You will provide technical advice, prepare accurate quotations, interpret customer specifications and tender requirements, and recommend suitable power protection solutions.

/n Working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will help manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation, follow-up, and order completion, ensuring excellent customer service and contributing to overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities: /n /n

- Respond to technical enquiries from end users and disributers.

/n

- Prepare accurate quotations, technical proposals, product brochures, and specifications for UPS systems and associated power protection equipment.

/n

- Assist with UPS sizing, battery sizing, power conditioners, maintenance bypass switches, and UPS status indicator sizing.

/n

- Review customer specifications and tender documents to develop compliant and technically appropriate solutions.

/n

- Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation, negotiation, follow-up, and order placement.

/n

- Participate in customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions to support sales opportunities.

/n





- Proactively follow up quotations and sales leads to maximise conversion rates and achieve sales targets.

/n

- Manage incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring timely and qualified responses to customer enquiries.

/n

- Occasionally visit customer sites to assess technical requirements and prepare accurate, fit-for-purpose quotations.

/n

- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and other internal databases and systems.

/n

- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, analyse sales performance, and provide relevant insights to management.

/n

- Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to support business activities and resolve customer issues.

/n

- Assist with operational tasks and overflow work as required, providing support across the wider team.

/n /n Skills, Qualifications & Experience: /n /n

- Previous experience in internal sales support, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing role within the UPS, electrical or power protection.

/n

- Experience preparing technical quotations, reviewing tenders, interpreting specifications, and recommending suitable products or solutions.

/n

- Understanding of UPS systems, battery configurations, power conditioning equipment, and associated accessories is highly desirable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.

/n

- Confidence in participating in technical meetings, product presentations, and customer discussions.

/n

- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

/n

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries, prioritise competing deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

/n

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.

/n

- Experience preparing sales reports and analysing sales data.

/n

- A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to occasionally attend customer sites when required.
