Gaslec Safety is looking for a motivated and reliable Minimum Standards Inspector to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll travel between residential rental properties across Melbourne, conducting inspections to assess compliance with Victoria's rental minimum standards. You'll assess properties across 15 minimum standards categories, identify any issues and complete reports using our easy-to-use automated reporting system. No previous inspection experience required – full training provided!

Key responsibilities

- Conducting minimum standards inspections
- Assessing properties across 15 compliance categories
- Identifying issues, taking photos and completing digital reports
- Travelling between scheduled appointments throughout Melbourne
- Communicating professionally with property managers and our office team
- Managing your daily schedule and ensuring accurate, quality inspections

About you

- Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach




- Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone and digital reporting software
- Satisfactory National Police Check (mandatory)
- Previous trade, handyman or property maintenance experience is an advantage, but not essential
- Company vehicle and phone provided
- Full training – no qualifications or inspection experience required
