Service Locating & Potholing: Perform careful hand excavation and potholing to visually verify existing underground utilities before drilling.

Mud & Fluid Management: Assist with mixing drilling fluids (bentonite/polymers)

and managing fluid recycling or vacuum extraction systems.

Site Preparation & Cleanup: Set up safety barriers, guide vehicles, and ensure the work area is left clean, backfilled, and restored.

Requirements

Driver's Licence: A minimum of a valid Manual Car Licence is mandatory.

Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong, positive attitude.

Outdoor Fitness: Physically fit and fully comfortable working outdoors in tropical North Queensland conditions.

Travel Flexibility: Willingness to undertake a small amount of travel away from home when project locations demand it.

White Card: Current Construction Induction White Card.

What We Offer

Career Growth: We invest heavily in our people. For the right candidates, we offer fully supported opportunities to upgrade your skill set with Plant Tickets (including HDD competencies) and Truck Licences (MR/HR).

Stable Employment: Secure, full-time hours with a reputable local employer.

On-the-Job Training: Trainee positions are available—we are happy to train those with the right attitude who want to learn the drilling trade.
