We are looking for an experienced Senior Waiter / Assistant Manager to join our team at TÁVOLA in a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week).

This is a hands-on position for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, looking after guests and leading by example.

You will be actively involved in all aspects of service, working closely with the team to deliver the warm, personal and professional hospitality that defines TÁVOLA.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering exceptional, genuine and attentive guest service.

- Confidently recommending wines and guiding guests through our food and beverage offering.

- Coordinating the floor and ensuring smooth, productive service.

- Supporting and guiding colleagues while remaining actively involved in daily service.

- Taking initiative,



resolving day-to-day challenges and maintaining high standards throughout the restaurant.

About you

- Proven experience in a quality, full-service restaurant, ideally in a senior waiter or supervisory position.

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests.

- Strong wine knowledge and confidence in recommending and discussing wines.

- A hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to guide and support colleagues.

- The confidence to take ownership of service and remain calm and organised during busy periods.

- Excellent communication skills, reliability and attention to detail.

- A positive, down-to-earth attitude and a genuine appreciation for teamwork.

- Availability to work a full-time roster, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines will be highly regarded.
